New Week New Picks

Welcome to The Proposition’s 3 at 3. We had been on the lookout for a simple place to find a few picks a day to build a bankroll, round out some parlays, or attempt to beat any of the handful of prop sites out there, and to do so with as little excess junk as possible.

No analysis paralysis, no needless podcast banter, no endless embedded twitter links, just three picks every day at 3PM (et) with relevant rationale.

We hope to make these picks slightly more successful than betting on the favorites NBA over this last weekend. Yikes.

Pick #1: Golden State Warriors | Moneyline (-115)

Although in a defeat, the Warriors looked good on Saturday. This is a team that hasn’t lost back to playoff games since the 2019 NBA Finals. I expect Andrew Wiggins to shake off a little more rust and the defense to do a better job after getting blasted by the Kentucky duo of Monk and Fox. I do think that Golden State wins this series (-140), which is going to require a win on the road. How about tonight?

Pick #2: Jacob DeGrom | Over 8.5 Strikeouts (+108)

High number for sure, but at plus odds I’ll take it. DeGrom has gone over this mark twice in his first 3 games, including 9Ks last week against these same Royals. The only time he didn’t make it over was 7 Ks in that weird opening day start against the Phillies. 9Ks should be achievable here from one of the best in the game.

Pick #3: Chris Flexen | Under 4.5 Ks (-102)

Here is another pick with limited juice to get your week started the right way. The Brewers do strike out more than the average team, but I don’t think that holds true today. Flexen got smoked in his last start against the Cubs, giving up 8ER in less than 3 innings. He is also has 1 , 4, and 1 strikeout in his three starts this year. This feels like an under, especially at -102.

Record Year to Date: 6 - 6
