3 Picks for Sunday 5.21

Welcome to The Proposition’s 3 at 3. We had been on the lookout for a simple place to find a few picks a day to build a bankroll, round out some parlays, or attempt to beat any of the handful of prop sites out there, and to do so with as little excess junk as possible.

No analysis paralysis, no needless podcast banter, no endless embedded twitter links, just three picks every afternoon.

Yesterday’s Rapid Rundown: 1-2

W’s: Luke Weaver did finish under is 4.5Ks prop against the Yankees, finishing with 4. Was a little bit of a sweat of course, but we’ll take the W.

L’s: 2 losses again isn’t getting it done. I was wrong to fade Bruce Brown. He is having himself a solid series. LA made some costly turnovers that allowed Brown to reach the over and Coach Malone chose to roll with Brown over KCP and Gordon in the 4th Q. Aaron Nola also smashed is stirkeout prop, topping double digits for the first time this year (and topping 6.5 for the first time this year), which we went against.

Promos to be aware of:

  • Not seeing any as of this writing

Pick #1: Jayson Tatum | Double Double Yes (-130)

Must win scenario for Boston. Tatum is going to get little rest and a million opportunities for rebounds. He’s Boston’s best rebounder and he’s averaging 10.5 bounds per game. Though less likely, Tatum can also get there in assists. I’m thinking a big game is in store tonight in Miami for Jayson Tatum. It kind of has to be or adios, Celtics.

Pick #2: Lance Lynn | Under 7 Strikeouts (+100)

This is a PrizePicks line, but I would absolutely love to play this under 7.5K if I could find it. As we wrote last week, Lynn hasn’t been good at all this year. He has pieced together a couple of good strikeouts games but he has also gotten blown up a few times this year. I just cannot take a pitcher with a 6.66 ERA to get 8Ks.

Pick #3: Jesus Luzardo | Over 6 Strikeouts (+100)

Big time arm against one of top strikeout teams in the league. Luzardo has finally started to reach his massive potential, and I think it is conceivable that he carves up the Giants today. If you can find this line at 5.5K, I think this is a great play.

Record Year to Date: 42 - 38
