Sweet New Logo

Welcome to The Proposition’s 3 at 3. We had been on the lookout for a simple place to find a few picks a day to build a bankroll, round out some parlays, or attempt to beat any of the handful of prop sites out there, and to do so with as little excess junk as possible.
No analysis paralysis, no needless podcast banter, no endless embedded twitter links, just three picks every day at 3PM (et) with relevant rationale.

Yesterday’s Rapid Rundown: 2-1
The Julius Randle Points Under continued to be a go-to play for us, as he has continued to really struggle to score against the Cavs. Reid Detmers inched over his strikeout prop by mowing down 6 Royals, vs. his line of 5.5, giving us another W. Unfortunately for us, Jack Flaherty turned back the clock with a whopping 9 strikeouts against the Mariners.
Promos to be aware of:
N/A for now
Pick #1: Dylan Brooks | Under 13.5 Points (-120)
After punching the King below the belt, Dillon Brooks will return off of his Game 3 ejection with a clean slate. While the Grizz are in dire need of a win on the road tonight, I don't think it will be Brooks doing the scoring. Brooks has only eclipsed 13 points in 1 of 6 meetings against the Lakers this season. Now that he's talked a whole bunch of smack and not followed through, Brooks's main focus will need to be on stopping LeBron James, who will also be guarding him for a good chunk of the game. I will be hate-watching the NBA's new big antagonist and cheering for bricks.
Pick #2: Atlanta Braves - 1.5 > Miami Marlins | (-125)
There are a number of ways that one could play this pitching mismatch, but I’ll perhaps take the most straightforward one. Spencer Strider is going to be in every single NL Cy Young conversation this year, and rightfully so. Edward Cabrera on the other hand has been extremely up and down, pitching to a scary WHIP of 1.75. I don’t think he gets away with that against the loaded Braves lineup tonight. Take the Braves and don’t be afraid to lay the runs.
Pick #3: Brad Keller | Over 3.5 Strikeouts (-108)
We got smoked on this one earlier this year, but it is just difficult to pass on a number this low. Keller has averaged 4.5 Ks in his first four starts, and Arizona strikes out in about 27% of their at-bats. He also generally is allowed to throw 80+ pitches, sometimes going all the way up to triple digits. I don’t think it is likely to be pretty, but the number and the juice are just so low. I’ll just check the box score in the morning and hope for a 4.
