3 Picks for Wednesday 5.10

Welcome to The Proposition’s 3 at 3. We had been on the lookout for a simple place to find a few picks a day to build a bankroll, round out some parlays, or attempt to beat any of the handful of prop sites out there, and to do so with as little excess junk as possible.

No analysis paralysis, no needless podcast banter, no endless embedded twitter links, just three picks every afternoon.

Yesterday’s Rapid Rundown: 0-3

W’s: Yikes

L’s: Tough one yesterday, as Jokic fell one rebound short of the 14 that we needed. Shane Bieber dominated the Tigers with a season high 9 strikeouts vs. his line of 6.5, and Brandon Pfaadt struggled again with only 3Ks vs. the 4.5 over that we would have liked. Good thing today is a new day huh?

Promos to be aware of:

  • None at the time of this writing

Pick #1: Julius Randle | Under 36.5 P+R+A (-120)

DraftKings wisely stripped H2H Jordan Poole props off of its board, forcing me to pick on someone else. Well I'll go back to my main man. Julius Randle has been so up and down this postseason, much more the latter. He had an awesome Game 2, shattering this prop when the Heat didn't have Jimmy Butler, but otherwise he's been safely under. 36.5 just seems really high for a guy who could have a great game (20-10-5) and still not make it to 37. His combo average is 27.8. The Knicks are on the brink of elimination at home and Randle is going to get his chances, but he's either going to need a ton of points or a double-double, which I will bet against. I'd rather bank on Brunson or Barrett to be the guy tonight, but I do lean Miami covering.

Pick #2: Dean Kremer | Over 2.5 Earned Runs (-110)

Kremer goes up against Tampa Bay, who still holds the title for most runs in the league so far this season. I’m a little surprised by the low juice here as Kremer has pitched to a 5.80 ERA, giving up 3.29 earned runs per start this year, and has only gone under 2.5 ERs twice in seven starts this season.

Pick #3: Lance Lynn | Over 2.5 Earned Runs (-105)

Again, we have a pitcher who has struggled all year at a very low juice number. Lynn has hit this prop just once (in his first start of the season). He goes up against the Royals tonight, who have really seen the bats heat over the last couple of weeks. We’re talking about a guy who has given up 4.3 ERs per start, an I think KC gets to him for a few tonight.

Record Year to Date: 36 - 29
