3 Picks for Tuesday 5.23

Welcome to The Proposition’s 3 at 3. We had been on the lookout for a simple place to find a few picks a day to build a bankroll, round out some parlays, or attempt to beat any of the handful of prop sites out there, and to do so with as little excess junk as possible.
No analysis paralysis, no needless podcast banter, no endless embedded twitter links, just three picks every afternoon.

Yesterday’s Rapid Rundown: 2-1
W’s: Tanner Houck smashed his prop, striking out 8 Angels vs. his line of only 4.5.
L’s: That is where the good news end, as Bailey Ober got knocked around by the Giants, falling short of his K prop. On the hardwood, Aaron Gordon broke out of his slumber to go over his 20.5 P+R+A line as the Nuggets completed the sweep of the Lakers.
Promos to be aware of:
Taco Tuesday on Prizepicks, at the time of this writing the prop that was posted was Bam down to 14.5 points. He was consistently crushing this, but had only 13 in Game 3.
Pick #1: Caleb Martin | Over 11.5 Points (-130)
I'm going to keep trusting the undrafted tandem of Heat players. Caleb Martin is averaging over 30 minutes a game off of the bench and is absolutely smashing the Celtics. Martin is averaging over 19 points in this series and 12.6 in the postseason. Defensively, Boston can't stop this Miami wave and Martin is a huge part of that. Barring a down night by likely the entire team, Martin should continue to go over 11 points.
Pick #2: Jose Berrios | Over 4.5 Strikeouts (-120)
Yes, I know we have been here before. I have to look very closely at this one, because the Blue Jays’ starter has 52 Ks in 52.2 IP. Now I am not a math scientist, but that is about 1 strikeout per inning. For a pitcher who has gone 5 innings or more in all of his starts but one, this seems like a slam dunk. Factor in the fact that he faced the Rays last month and struck out 6 of them, and I will be making this play confidently.
Pick #3: Bobby Miller | Over 3.5 Strikeouts (-154)
Yes, the Braves blew Gavin Stone up last night in almost this exact same scenario. I know the juice here is bad, but maybe find a nice parlay for this one. Bobby Miller can get his fastball up to triple digits, so I think it is reasonable that he runs up some strikeouts against a bunch of hitters who have never seen him before.
