3 at 3

Welcome to The Proposition’s 3 at 3. We had been on the lookout for a simple place to find a few picks a day to build a bankroll, round out some parlays, or attempt to beat any of the handful of prop sites out there, and to do so with as little excess junk as possible.

No analysis paralysis, no needless podcast banter, no endless embedded twitter links, just three picks every day at 3PM (et) with relevant rationale.

Kept it in the green with a 2-1 yesterday. Las Vegas (?!) A's rookie pitcher Mason Miller did go over his strikeout prop in his debut, and White Sox starter Mike Clevinger went way way under. Pitching props are hot.

Jaren Jackson Jr. finished a touch under his points total where we had the over, but at least he didn’t try to rile up LeBron James for no reason.

Pick #1: Kenta Maeda | Over 3.5 Ks (-150)

Decent juice here, and the prop currently sits at 4 on most of the pick sites. With that said, four or above certainly seems promising here against the Red Sox. While Maeda had only 3Ks in his last start, he had 9 in his season debut. Going back to 2021, (he missed all of 2022) the 3Ks in his last start was the only time he went under this line in his last 11 starts.

Pick #2: Kodai Senga | Over 5.5 Strikeouts (-150)

Apparently we love our Japanese pitchers here at The Prop. Same story with the juice here, but Senga setting to 6 against a Giants team who strikes out more than any in the league should be a fine play. Our model projects 7, so if you can find 6.5Ks at plus money that might be playable as well. He has at least 6Ks in all three of his MLB starts.

Pick #3: Steph Curry | Over 43.5 Points + Rebs + Asst (-115)

This is the definition of a “must-win” game for the Golden State Warriors at tonight and the defending champs are going to need a huge performance from their star player. With Draymond Green suspended for Game 3, Curry will have to do even more. Draymond has averaged 8 assists per game through the first two games, we expect some of those to go to Curry. His minutes are going to be crazy high, so the opportunity will be more than there.
