3 Picks for Wednesday 4.26

Welcome to The Proposition’s 3 at 3. We had been on the lookout for a simple place to find a few picks a day to build a bankroll, round out some parlays, or attempt to beat any of the handful of prop sites out there, and to do so with as little excess junk as possible.

No analysis paralysis, no needless podcast banter, no endless embedded twitter links, just three picks every day at 3PM (et) with relevant rationale.

Yesterday’s Rapid Rundown: 2-1

W’s: Our boy Ryan Feltner continued to rack up K’s on the road, going way over his K line (6 vs. 3.5). Our Corey Kluber under strikeouts also hit (4.5) as he was only able to cut down 3 Orioles, despite actually having a pretty good start.

L’s: The Russ Westbrook train finally ran out of steam last night. It will be quite difficult to hit your Points over when you shoot a ghastly 3-18.

Promos to be aware of:

None seen as of this writing

Pick #1: Zac Gallen | Over 6.5 Ks (-135)

I admit to needing to do a double take when I saw this line. One of the Cy Young favorites in the NL, Gallen has topped this line in 4 out of his 5 starts this year. He also has 11 strikeouts in 2 of his last 3 starts, indicating quite a bit of wiggle room above the 6.5 number. When you throw in the fact that he is going against the Royals who strike out a lot, walk as little as anyone in the league, and generally have underperformed with the bats this season I am locking this one in.

Pick #2: Giannis Antetokounmpo | Over 48.5 PRA (-130)

The time is now. The Bucks are back in Milwaukee in a lose-and-go-home situation. To keep the season alive, Giannis is going to have to stuff the stat sheet and grind through his recent injury. I like the Bucks to win big tonight to extend the series on the shoulders of its best player. He got to 49 against Miami in a less critical situation on Monday night. Many many people think this is the best player in the league, let’s see it tonight.

Pick #3: Julius Randle | Under 21.5 points (-108)

We’ll run it back again. I’ve watched every minute of these Cavs / Knicks games, and Julius Randle just doesn’t need to be a big part of the Knicks game plan here in order for them to win. He’s averging just 15 points per game in this series, including an average of 9 over his last two. Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen have been giving him a ton of trouble inside, and he hasn’t shot well from outside. In a do or die game for the Cavs, it wouldn’t be a shock to see those guys give 110% effort, meaning Randle will be in for another long night.

Record Year to Date: 21 - 18
