3 Picks for Sunday 4.30

Welcome to The Proposition’s 3 at 3. We had been on the lookout for a simple place to find a few picks a day to build a bankroll, round out some parlays, or attempt to beat any of the handful of prop sites out there, and to do so with as little excess junk as possible.

No analysis paralysis, no needless podcast banter, no endless embedded twitter links, just three picks every day at 3PM (et) with relevant rationale.

Promos to be aware of:

Not seeing anything as of tis writing

Pick #1: Kevon Looney | Over 12.5 Rebounds (-130)

All this man does is gobble up boards. Looney is averaging 14.2 rebounds in this series with the closest on the Kings being Sabonis at 11.5. When Looney is on the floor (averaging 30 min. per game in this series), he is the favorite to grab every defensive board. It's do or die in Game 7. While Curry and Thompson will be depended on to get buckets, Golden State needs Looney to clean the glass like he's been doing.

Pick #2: Jordan Poole + Domontas Sabonis | Under 32.5 points (-120)

Both Poole (significantly) and Sabonis have been under their scoring averages in this series. Poole is down from 20.4 to 12.7 and Sabonis is down from 19.1 to 15.5. It's Game 7 and it's going to be Fox-Monk and Curry-Thompson taking the shots and doing the scoring. Sabonis is getting hounded on the offensive end and few buckets are coming easy. This just doesn't seem to be the series for either of these guys, and so as long as Poole (who I'm targeting more) doesn't get hot from outside, I like these combined totals to stay under 32.5.

Pick #3: Jose Urquidy | Under 5.5 Ks (-144)

Yes, it’s a big juice number, but I could actually see a 4 here if you wanted to play that. Urquidy has more than 5 strikeouts just once in his 5 starts this year and in the one that did go over he had just six. Throw in the fact that he is facing a good Phillies lineup in a primetime game and I just can’t see it. This is pretty much exactly the same play that we used on Dustin May on Friday night, and he finished with four. Just saying, enjoy the incredible day of sports we have in front of us.
