Future Friday
Welcome to The Proposition’s 3 at 3. We had been on the lookout for a simple place to find a few picks a day to build a bankroll, round out some parlays, or attempt to beat any of the handful of prop sites out there, and to do so with as little excess junk as possible.
No analysis paralysis, no needless podcast banter, no endless embedded twitter links, just three picks every day at 3PM (et) with relevant rationale.

Yesterday’s Rapid Rundown: 1-2
Japanese starting pitcher day turned out to be a huge miss, with both Kenta Maeda and Kodai Senga going under while we had the over (Maeda left with an injury.) A big big win for us though with Steph Curry going over his PRA of 43.5.
Promos to be aware of:
Sleeper: Nikola Jokic > .5 pts
Jock MKT Pick Em: Shohei Ohtani > 5.5 Ks (7.5K original line)
Pick #1: Boston Celtics | -5 (-110)
This series shift to Atlanta tonight, giving the Hawks their last glimmer of hope. I think that Boston snuffs out that glimmer. Marcus Smart is swarming Trae Young, ATL can’t stop turning the ball over, and the Celtics has them outclassed with talent. The C’s are 5-0 vs. the Hawks this year, with all 5 victories by more than 5 points, including 3 double digit beatdowns. Give me Boston -5 as the Hawks get one step closer to a nice vacation.
Pick #2: Graham Ashcraft | Over 4.5 Strikeouts (-102)
We won on this prop early in the year, with Ashcraft striking out 6 Pirates in his season debut. While the Bucs haven’t struck out a ton this year, they did get K’d 8 times by Luke Weaver of all people last night. Ashcraft has been a little wild lately with 7 BBs over his last two starts, but he also has averaged 5.6 Ks over his first 3 starts. Given then extremely minimal juice, I’ll lean towards the over.
Pick #3: Michael Lorenzen | Over 3.5 Strikeouts (-140)
This is like the ultimate “just check the box score” game. Going back to last August, Lorenzen has averaged 1.19 K / Inning. The Orioles are about middle of the road in terms of strikeouts, so I just need Lorenzen to get to 4 innings give or take? Let’s take.
Future Friday: | LA Chargers Over 9.5 Wins (-105)
Yes, this will take a year to pay out. I don’t really get this line though. The Chargers won 10 games last year, and bring back more or less the same roster. I’m not at all sold on Herbert being in the Mahomes / Allen / Burrow tier when it comes to the postseason, but I think he gets to 10 wins. I do not think the Broncos or Raiders will be particularly good.
Record Year to Date: 12 - 12
