Welcome to The Proposition’s 3 at 3. We had been on the lookout for a simple place to find a few picks a day to build a bankroll, round out some parlays, or attempt to beat any of the handful of prop sites out there, and to do so with as little excess junk as possible.

No analysis paralysis, no needless podcast banter, no endless embedded twitter links, just three picks every day at 3PM (et) with relevant rationale.

Yesterday’s Rapid Rundown: 2-1

Promos to be aware of:

Jock MKT Pick Em: Steph Curry > 24.5 Points (7.5K original line)

Pick #1: Julius Randle | Under 23.5 Points (-110)

I'm going back to the well. Julius Randle hasn't cracked 24 points in this series and scored only 11 last game where the Knicks blew out the Cavs. I think today's game is much closer and the Cavs bring a little more defense. I just think it's not the best matchup for Randle, whose been relying on 3-pointers because the points aren't coming as easily inside. The reasonable juice here (-125) just shows that oddsmakers feel the same.

 
Pick #2: Reid Detmers | Over 5.5 Strikeouts (-128)

Detmers has continued to show good stuff this year, and has gone over this line in two out of his three starts. While the Royals lineup actually hasn’t struck out a ton this year, they’ve been one of the worst offenses in the league. I think this just comes down to a good arm against a lot of ho-hum bats. Getting to 6 Ks should be very much in play.

Pick #3: Jack Flaherty | Under 5.5 Strikeouts (-125)

The former stud pitcher has had a bit of a resurgence this year, but not really on the strikeout side. He’s topped this one once in his four starts, and in that one he did only get to 6. Seattle doesn’t strike out a ton either, so I really do quite like this play.
