3 Picks for Thursday 4.27

Welcome to The Proposition’s 3 at 3. We had been on the lookout for a simple place to find a few picks a day to build a bankroll, round out some parlays, or attempt to beat any of the handful of prop sites out there, and to do so with as little excess junk as possible.

No analysis paralysis, no needless podcast banter, no endless embedded twitter links, just three picks every day at 3PM (et) with relevant rationale.

Yesterday’s Rapid Rundown: 3-0

W’s: Wow, what a night a of sports. I can’t be the only one in physical pain from staying up way too late too late to watch that Bucks choke job. Huge night for us as well, with a clean sweep. Zac Gallen smoked his over of 6.5 Ks with a season-high 12. In that aforementioned losing effort, Giannis smashed his PRA combo of 48.5. This one was a little less fun, but Julius Randle again fell short of his points line of 21.5, after leaving the game for good with a minute left in the first half.

L’s: : )

Promos to be aware of:

PrizePicks is promising baseball discounts all day, though they seem just ok so far:

Shohei Ohtani: 7.5 K (Original Line = 8.5)

Gerrit Cole: 6.5 K (Original Line = 8)

Pick #1: Joey Wentz | Over 2.5 ERs (-108)

With the limited slate starting after 3PM I had to get the shovel out and dig deep for this one. We have may have found a gem for you guys though. This has hit in 3 out his 4 starts, including 5 against these seems Orioles in his last start. A top 10-ish offense against a pitcher with a 7.56 ERA this year? I think Baltimore gets to Wentz again this evening.

Pick #2: Tampa Bay Lightning / Toronto Maple Leafs | Over 6.5 goals PRA (-115)

These teams have played 7 times and have combined for 54 goals. 6 of the 7 games have had 7+ goals including all 4 in the postseason. I don’t think the market is properly pricing this at the moment. Give me the over 6.5 goals tonight in game 5.

Pick #3: Bijan Robinson to be drafted before Peter Skoronski (-115)

Even though this seems like the most chaotic draft in years, we had to drop a pick in. Though the RB position has been devalued in both the draft and salary market, Robinson is one of the best players in this class and could boost any offense. I would imagine the run-heavy Falcons would love to snag Robinson at 8 (unless they're all-in on Allgeier, who came on toward the end of the year). A London-Robinson-Pitts trio seems like a nice squad of young talent. I haven't seen this much hype about a RB since Saquon Barkley (who went 2nd overall). And I guess Peter Skoronski has short arms.

Record Year to Date: 24 - 18
